CHRISTOPHER HALEY (Vocals & Guitar)

Instruments:  Saxaphone, clarinet, singer, bass, and guitar.

Equipment: Vintage/custom Fender and Ampeg Amps. Custom Fender guitars.

Don Grosh pick ups. MXR, and Fulltone pedals.

 

Chirs was voted "Top 5 Best Musicians in Western Washington" by King 5 in 2013. He has played thousands of shows locally throughout WA state performing with notable acts such as Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Michael Witton of Queens Ryche, Todd Duncan of Crazy 8's, Randy Hansen of the International Jimi Hendrix Tribute, Wayman Chapman, and his good friend Sammy Drain. Chris has played virtually all venues in the Seattle and Yakima area but is most known for headlining Montana's infamous biker festival, the Testicle Festival. Chris and his bands headlined Testy Fest for 5 years straight.

 

Chris currently resides in Renton, WA, with his wife, daughter, and German Shepherd where they run Sacred Soul Tattoo.  Chris spends most of his time writing, and playing music with A Lien Nation, as well as collaborating with other local Seattle musicians.

CASEY KUNNING (Bass & Backing Vocals)

Instruments:  Bass guitar, guitar, vocals, keyboards, and synthesizers.

Equipment: Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass, Peavey Grind 5-string, Ampeg SVT4Pro with a 15" speaker & four 10" speakers, Malekko B: Assmaster Fuzz Pedal.

 

Casey has been a musician since junior high, playing his first show at 14 years old. He was in choir and jazz combo, and was voted best musician of the class of 1998 at Tahoma High. He got his start as a bassist while he was working at Presti's with Louie Galarza in 2000 when Louie sold him his first bass guitar, a Peavey T40. Casey has played with many bands since then, and written for many different projects but finially found his true calling in the outlaw blue. Drawing inspiration from many different genres, Casey is known best for walking the bass lines, and funky bass riffs, brining an element of funk to A Lien Nation. 

 

Casey currently resides in Auburn with his girlfriend, their 2 dogs and a cat. When Casey isn't writting funky bass riffs he is sweating it out as an iron worker in the greater Seattle area.

 

 

JOHN CAVE (Drums)

Instruments:  Drums & Percussion

Equipment:  Tama Starclassic Maple kit, Zildjian K custom crash cymbals, Zildjian A custom ride and china, Dave Weckl signature hi-hats by Sabian,Yamaha Flying Dragon double bass pedal, DW hardware, & Vic Firth 8D drumsticks.

 

John has been playing drums and percussion in Southern Oregon for the past 13 years and moved to the Seattle area in 2011 to pursue school and music. While John was classically trained in jazz, his playing style encompasses elements of blues, funk, rock and metal.  “My goal as a drummer is to play only what is absolutely necessary, and to play it as solid as possible. Anything more than that tends to degrade the music and the message.”

 

John currently resides in Tacoma, WA. with his wife and his Golden Retriever. When John isn't writting music or performing with A Lien Nation, he is working hard as an Architectural Designer at Clark Design Group in Seattle.
